Billing & plans

What each plan allows, how payment works, and what happens when it stops.

The trial

Every organization starts on a 14-day free trial of the complete product — no credit card, no feature held back, and no limit on how many tenants you connect while it runs. The dashboard counts the days down for you.

If you connect many tenants during the trial and then pick MSP, checkout starts from the tenants you already have connected — the first invoice reflects your real client count, not a fresh start at one.

MSP€198/mo + €18/tenant€99/mo + €9/tenantunlimited10 included, then per tenant

Enterprise is the plan for a single tenant that has outgrown five subscriptions — every subscription in your tenant, without the white-label and resale parts of MSP that a direct customer has no use for.

MSP is billed per connected tenant. The monthly fee covers the first ten client tenants; each tenant beyond that adds its per-tenant rate. Connecting or disconnecting a client changes the count, and the new count applies from your next billing period — so a client you onboard mid-month is not prorated onto the invoice you are currently in. The billing page shows the count you are being billed for at any time, alongside what your next invoice comes to and the date it is charged.

Every newly connected tenant is free for its first 30 days and does not count toward the billed quantity while that window runs. This is for the way partners actually sell: connect a prospective client, scan them, show them what you found, and win the deal before the tenant costs you anything. The free window is granted once per tenant — disconnecting and reconnecting the same tenant does not start a new one — and the billing page shows how many of your tenants are still inside theirs and when the next one ends.

The regular price is what a plan costs at general availability. The early-access founding rate is what you pay if you subscribe now — and it applies for 24 months from the day you subscribe. After that the plan bills at the regular price in the column beside it — the figure was on the pricing page when you signed up. Cancel or change plan at any point before then; nothing renews silently at a price you have not seen.

Early access is limited to the first 50 organizations, 30 of those seats held for MSP partners. After that, plans are sold at general-availability rates.

The MSP plan is also what unlocks white-label branding — your logo and colours on the reports you hand to clients.

The tenant limit is checked when you connect a new tenant, not retroactively. If you connected several during the trial and then pick Personal, the existing connections are not taken away — you simply cannot add another.

Buying a plan

Go to Settings → Billing and press the plan you want. Payment runs through Stripe; card details never touch TenantThrift.

The billing page also shows what you are using against what your plan allows, and whether scanning is currently active or blocked — with the reason.

Why it asks for a country

TenantThrift does not sell into the United States or Canada. If you signed up by email you already picked a country and nothing more is asked. If you signed in with Microsoft, no country was collected at the time, so checkout asks once before it sends you to Stripe.

The billing address is checked again at Stripe. If a blocked country turns up there, the subscription is cancelled automatically rather than activated.

Changing or cancelling

Once you have a subscription, Manage subscription opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change plan, update the card, download invoices and cancel. Everything is self-service.

Cancelling runs to the end of the paid period. After that the organization returns to an unpaid state: scanning pauses, and everything already scanned stays readable. Nothing is deleted by cancelling — deletion is a separate, deliberate action described in Your data.

What "scanning paused" means

When a trial or plan lapses, the scan button stops working and scheduled scans stop running. You keep full access to existing findings, cost history, reports and exports. Picking a plan resumes scanning immediately — there is nothing to restore.

Who can do this

Buying a plan and opening the billing portal are not restricted to Admins — any member of the organization can start checkout. Everything else on this page (renaming, branding, deleting) is Admin-only. If that is not what you want for your team, keep the number of members small or use Reader roles.
